Walls & Ceilings highlights National Gypsum's Centennial

Walls & Ceilings recently featured National Gypsum Company as the organization celebrated its 100-year anniversary at the AWCI BUILD25 event in Charlotte.

"'As we gather at this year’s AWCI BUILD25 Convention & Expo in our hometown of Charlotte, I find myself reflecting on the role that partnership has played in shaping National Gypsum’s long history,' said Vice President of Sales and Marketing Scott Crutchfield. 'The most remarkable part of the story is not how much has changed since 1925, but how much has stayed the same.'"

"National Gypsum Company was founded by three ambitious entrepreneurs: Melvin H. Baker, Joseph F. Haggerty, and Clarence E. Williams. When their former company folded, they came together and seized an opportunity to do things differently. They started a company built around a superior product, constant innovation, and strong relationships – all in the service of partners."
