- Review exterior gypsum board products—such as sheathing, soffit board, and shaftliner—and evaluate the benefits and limitations of paper-faced, cement board, and fiberglass-faced options for various applications.
- Identify the appropriate gypsum board for specific performance needs, including abuse- and impact-resistant boards. Learn how to apply relevant test standards and match products to their intended use to ensure system integrity.
- Review interior gypsum board products and their acceptable applications. Understand what qualifies a board as mold- and moisture-resistant based on industry standards, and where these products should—and should not—be used.
