55-stories, 2.1 million square feet. Many sustainable materials were used in the construction, including Gold Bond gypsum board produced at National Gypsum's Shippingport, PA plant. A clear, high-performance glass curtain wall permits maximum sunlight and views to the outdoors while blocking unwanted heat. The tower also will capture and reuse nearly all rainwater and sink water, saving millions of gallons of drinking water. |
