PermaBase for use in Masonry Veneer Installation Systems

PermaBase Brand Cement Board is often used as a substrate for Masonry Veneer systems utilizing Manufactured Stone and Thin Brick in both interior and exterior applications. The following features and benefits make it ideally suited for the purpose:

• IRC and IBC 2006 Compliant - Meets ASTM C 1325.
• Resists the growth of mold and mildew achieving a panel score of 10, the highest possible, per ASTM D 3273.
• Highly moisture resistant, and will not rot, disintegrate or swell when exposed to water.

• Impact resistant, extremely durable and dimensionally stable. It has excellent overall flexural, compressive, and tensile strength characteristics.
• Can be cut to size utilizing a standard utility knife and straight edge.
