A new NGC projects web app makes product selection for the do-it-yourselfer easier. The mobile app, designed to help consumers with wall, ceiling, and floor projects, works on all smart phone and tablet platforms.

With the touch of a smart phone button, consumers can select a picture of their construction project. Another touch on the picture "hot spots" provides information on which products to buy and why, a list of materials needed, and suggestions for finishing. Currently, there are three projects on the site: kitchens, baths, and media/bonus rooms. Videos of all three give more insight on product features.

The company also has introduced two additional tools for consumers, a website with information on how to install and finish Gold Bond® BRAND High Strength LITE^TM Gypsum Board and videos on YouTube offering project help.

LITE Site
The new web site, NationalGypsum.com/HS-LITE, provides the inside scoop on how to install and finish the company's new High Strength LITE^TM Gypsum Board. The product is 25 percent lighter than original ½-inch High Strength Gypsum Board and can be used on walls and ceilings. The new website graphically shows consumers how to install the board; a calculator tells them how much to buy, and a finishing guide provides information on cutting and taping the board.

NGC Videos
